The General Motors Proving Ground is located in Milford, Michigan. The Proving Ground has a rich history dating from 1924. During the almost 90 years that the Proving Grounds has supported the design and development of GM's vehicles, Staff and Division personnel have worked closely together. They have developed an identity not only with their staff or division, but also with the Proving Ground.

The GMPG Retiree Club provides the opportunity for the retirees of the Milford Proving Ground to meet and socialize. Membership in the club requires that an application and dues be submitted for approval by the Board. Membership is open to Division and Staff retirees.
